In 1959, Joseph W. Esch established Esch Insurance
Agency in Dodgeville , Wisconsin as a sole proprietorship.
He began his career by selling health insurance and
in 1965 entered into the property and casualty business.
During his career, Joe served on the board of the
Independent Insurance Agents of Wisconsin, Time Insurance,
M&I Bank, and Middleton Insurance. He strongly
believed in giving back to his community by serving
on several committees and getting involved with many
of the local service organizations. One of the most
memorable events of his career was the Barneveld
tornado in 1986.
In 1977, Larry Myers joined Esch Insurance as a
licensed agent specializing in all lines of insurance.
In 1994, Terry Fischer joined the agency as a licensed
agent, in addition to offering investment services.
In 1997, Joe retired after 38 years and Larry and
Terry became partners of Esch Insurance. At the beginning
of 2007, Sandy (Esch) Fischer joined the agency as
a new partner and director of marketing.
Almost fifty years later, Esch Insurance Agency,
Inc. continues to be a respected independent insurance
agency that develops quality, competitively priced
insurance plans for individuals, families, and businesses. |
